St. Gertrude's church
St. Gertrude’s Church was built at the end of the fifteenth century and the beginning of the sixteenth century. The tower on the front facade — in the middle of he sixteenth century. The shrine was first mentioned in 1503 year in Grand Duke Alexander privilege. It belonged to Kaunas parochial church, whose pastors cared for this building, still called the chapel, until the eighteenth century. A small gothic St. Gertrude Church is a brick, rectangular nave. The presbytery — irregular shape, finished three—sided apse, lower than the nave roof. To one side of it burrows sacristy. The main facade is dominated by four slots tower, which is a comprehensive portal arch. South side is a separate entrance to the presbytery. Side facade breaks lancet windows, corners and spacing between windows supported by buttresses.
The inner space of the presbytery is appointed from the nave of the semicircular arch. Interior equipment ensemble - the late Baroque style. By the end of the eighteenth century in the great altar were the group of the Crucified and Our Lady and St. John the Evangelist sculptures. The left altar was dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary Immaculate in honor of its first phase was the same title picture, and the second — the image of St. Gertrude, which is named the church. Right altar was consecrated to St. Rokas. Subsequent incomplete knowledge of the images is incomplete.
